PONTOS, Amisos. Late 5th-4th century BC. AR Siglos (5.57 gm; 18 mm). Head of Hera left, wearing stephane decorated with palmettes / Owl with open wings standing facing on shield; AP-IΣ across fields. SNG BM Black Sea 1053-4 var.; SNG Stancomb 658; HGC 7, 229. Obverse slightly off center and struck from minor rusty die, otherwise well struck. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
