LOKRIS. Lokris Opuntii. Circa 356-338 BC. Triobol (Silver, 15 mm, 2.61 g, 6 h). Head of Persephone to left, wearing wreath of grain leaves and triple-pendant earring. Rev. ΟΠΟΝΤΙΩ-Ν Ajax, nude but for helmet, moving right, holding short sword in his right hand and, in his left, shield adorned with a griffin on the inside; across field, Λ-Y; on the ground below, spear. BCD Lokris-Phokis 67 (same dies). Humpris & Delbridge Group 6. Some roughness, otherwise, very fine.
