EUBOIA. Histiaia. 3rd-2nd centuries BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 14 mm, 2.20 g, 11 h). Head of the nymph Histiaia to right, her hair bound with a wreath of ivy leaves and berries. Rev. ΙΣΤΙΑΙΕΩΝ(?) Nymph seated to left on stern of galley, holding stylis in her right hand and resting her left on the deck; to left. Cf. BCD Euboia 434 (barbarous imitation). Extremely rare with the stern to left. Very fine.
