ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24.5 mm, 17.24 g, 1 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and palmette, round earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent; all within incuse square. Kroll 8. SNG Copenhagen 31. Boldly struck in high relief, and with attractive light toning. Good very fine.
