Head of Athena to right, with profile eye, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon; on the owl's body, circular indent bearing a countermark of a scallop shell. For the Athenian originals: HGC 4, 1598. The full flan of this coin is quite reminiscent of the Athenian imitations produced by Sabaces in Egypt during the 330s.
