MOESIA INFERIOR. Istrus. Pseudo-autonomous issue, 2nd century. (Bronze, 15.5 mm, 3.60 g, 6 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. [IC]-TP-HNΩ[Ν] Dionysos standing facing, head left, holding kantharos in right hand, thyrsos in left. Cf. AMNG I/1 483. SNG BM -. SNG Stancomb -. Reddish-brown surfaces with light earthen deposits. Flan flaw on reverse. Very fine.
