MISCELLANEA. 4th century BC-6th century AD. (Silver, 56.93 g). A lot of Ten (10) silver and bronze coins, from the Hellenistic period to the early Byzantine Empire. Includes a drachm from Miletos in the name of either Alexander III the Great or Philip III; an Imperatorial denarius of Cn. Pompeius Magnus and Cn. Calpurnius Piso; a denarius of Caracalla with Sol in quadriga reverse; antoniniani of Julia Domna, Gordian III (2, and both from the mint at Antioch), and Trajan Decius; and three Byzantine bronzes, including a follis of Anastasius I, and two half folles of Justinian I. An intersting group with some better coins in the mix. Mostly nearly very fine or better. Sold as is, no returns (10).
