Herakles leaning to right, lifting and strangling the Nemean lion grasped in a choke hold; between legs, [A]. D'Andrea, Miglioli, Tafuri, Vonghia, Diobols, Type 58. HN III 914. Cf. Vlasto 1289 (club to left and Δ between Herakle's legs). Toned. Good very fine.
