Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.25 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 119-125. Laureate and draped bust right / Galley left, no oarsmen: at the bow a mast raking forward with sails attached but not unfurled, at the stern is a stern-post and an arched cabin under a curved aplustre, in between is cross-hatching. RIC II 113 var. (bust type); RSC 1174b. Good VF, toned, small deposit at stern.
