Crispina, wife of Commodus (died in 183 AD.). AR Denarius. Rev. CONCORDIA. RIC 279. AG. g. 2.79 mm. 18.00 R. EF. During the early years of her husband's reign, Crispina was banished to Capreae and later put to death. Rare. A wonderful portrait and a fascinating reverse. Light patina with golden hues.
