Royal Bank of Scotland, £5, 22 September 2014, serial number RCE004222, Lord Ilay First Governor of the Royal Bank of Scotland at right, reverse, Ryder Cup. This note was issued on 22 September 2014, to celebrate the holding of the Ryder Cup at the famous Gleneagles golf course in Perthshire that month. This was the first European banknote to be printed on hybrid paper, a combination of traditional cotton and modern plastic polymers, (PMS RB102), uncirculated, prefix RCE, standing for Ryder Cup Europe, especially rare in original presentation folders.
