Le Rider-354-83; SNG ANS-157-9. In the name and types of Philip II. Obverse: Laureate head of Apollo right; Reverse: Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving biga right; below, Nike flying right, holding wreath. A type that is not often encountered, this specimen does exhibit some marks in the fields and on the edge consistent with time spent as a jewelry piece. Nevertheless, solid overall detail remains, with a bright golden-olive hue.
