MacDonald-392/1; Anokhin-411; RPC-III, 816. Obverse: Diademed and draped bust of Sauromates right; Reverse: Laureate head of Hadrian right; HIY (date) below. Fairly well centered and attractive, this specimen yields a pleasing portrait of each ruler, with a light golden-yellow hue throughout. A minor flan crack is noted merely for completeness.
