RIC-30; RSC-16A. "Tribute Penny" type. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Livia (as Pax) seated right on chair with ornate legs, holding scepter and branch. Always a popular type on account of its Biblical reference, this specimen from late in the reign of Tiberius presents a fairly deep tone paired with little actual handling and some alluring brilliance scattered in the protected areas as well.
