RIC-3; RSC-14. Obverse: Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; Reverse: Virtus standing left, holding spear and resting hand upon shield. Though some minor granularity and weakness is noted, this VERY RARE example from the brief reign of the younger Gordian Africanus presents a pleasing tone and centering of strike.
