Obverse: Minerva seating left on draped throne, holding wreath and presenting another; Reverse: Mars and Minerva standing facing, each holding wreaths and with shield slung over shoulders, and with a distinctive Latin American flair to their attire; globe between them. A well struck and VERY RARE medal with deep gray toning throughout along with pleasing, wholly original surfaces. The reverse emanates from a Chuquisaca type that features a bust of Simon Bolivar on its obverse.
