KM-Y-19.2. Refined Letters variety. A one-year denomination that is RARE in any grade on account of significant withdrawal from circulation after the 1/4 Bolivar denomination took its place in 1894. This example, far more detailed than most seen, shows limited softening of Bolivar's effigy. Despite the noted cleaning, which is only evidenced by limited hairlines, this example retains more than enough detail to be a full presentable specimen. A tremendous offering, and one that offers a compelling example for the collector looking to fill a challenging hole in their Venezuelan collection.
