KM-2; Prid-2. Countermark: Raised crowned script "GR" within oval indent. Applied to the obverse of a 1818-Mo JJ Mexico bust 8 Reales of Ferdinand VII (KM-111). An attractive and nicely preserved example of this popular type. The countermark is slightly uneven on a decent looking host with much remaining details. The surfaces exhibit modest wear displaying light attractive gray tone with slate patina amongst the devices. A wholesome problem free example of the type that is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
