KM-R3. Countermark: Variety B, Long and thin key. Applied twice to the reverse of 1875-Mo BH Mexico Republic 8 Reales (KM-377.10). A well traveled survivor bearing two key countermarks and went from the Caribbean to the Far East. Example seldom appear on the market with double countermarks should be and even less so with the addition of the chop marks and should be considered VERY RARE. The countermarks are slightly uneven missing minor portions of the design on a nicely preserved host. Aside from minor marks or abrasions the surfaces are relatively smooth displaying mottled gray patina with remaining luster in the protected areas. As indicated on the PCGS label, a few small chop marks, "工" (Gong) and "丰" (Feng), are noticed in the obverse fields adding a character to the interesting survivor.
