KM-R3. Countermark: Variety B, Long and thin key. Applied twice to the obverse of 1876-Pi MH Mexico Republic 8 Reales (KM-377.12). A rather RARE mint for this series with very few examples of any denomination being recorded. The countermark is bold and nearly complete on a moderately worn host coin displaying light gray tone with slate patina amongst the devices. A pleasant and presentable example of the type that is sure to add depth to the next collection it enters.
