KM-17.2 (Martinique); Prid-19 (Dominica). Countermark: Type IV bifacial, blunt heart-shaped cut-out with ornamented edges on both sides. Applied to 1751-Mo M Mexico Pillar 1 Real of Ferdinand VI (KM-76.1). This handsome little minor displays rich gray patina with brighter coloration on the high points. The surfaces are relatively smooth with signs of handling consistent for the grade. Pierced from the obverse, most of the ornamental design is still present and well defined. Pleasing to the eye and wholly original looking this charming little silver coin is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
