Escaping really any major signs of marking or contact, this piece has very few marks against it and many merits. Produced in a set with a silver 25 Korun, this medal has a close relationship with coinage, as no gold denominated coinage was produced in Czechoslovakia at the time. The frosted devices compliment the deeply mirrored fields in a display of enticing beauty. Honoring the Centennial of the Death of famed atomist and physiologist Jan Evangelista Purkyně, this specimen offers much beauty to the eyes of the collector.
