Obverse: Edward, holding sword and shield, standing facing in ship with bowsprit; stops: double saltire; Reverse: Voided short cross potent over cross fleuree; in each angle, crown over lion passant over trefoil; at center, Є within quadrilobe; all within polylobe, with trefoils in spandrels; stop: double saltire. Lightly handled but still pleasantly preserved, this wholesome example of a SCARCER minor in gold offers alluring eye appeal and tremendous overall quality for the type.
