GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Crown, ND (1639-40). London Mint; mm: triangle. Charles I. PCGS AU-58.
S-2776; N-2212; Brooker-352. Group III. Obverse: Charles, holding sword and reins, riding horse left; Reverse: Garnished oval coat-of-arms. Despite some striking weakness upon the obverse, this attractively toned and barely handled specimen from the later years in the reign of Charles presents a great wholesome nature and retains some enchanting brilliance dancing in the protected areas.
