GREAT BRITAIN. Commonwealth. Crown, 1658/7. London Mint. Oliver Cromwell (as Lord Protector). PCGS VG-10.
S-3226; N-2745; KM-D207. Overdate variety. Already standing as one of the more popular crowns within the series, this heavily worn survivor should undoubtedly garner great appeal, offering a chance at a type that is generally rather difficult to acquire. Though clearly spending much time in circulation--far longer than the appeal of Oliver and his son--this deep gray specimen has stood the test of time and will be a character-filled treasure for the next collection into which it enters.
Estimate: $1000 - $1500
