GREAT BRITAIN. George I Coronation Silver Medal, 1714. London Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-62.
MI-424/9; Eimer-470. By: J Croker. Obverse: Laureate, draped, and armored bust right; Reverse: George seated right on throne, being crowned by Britannia, holding spear and shield, standing to right. An immensely appealing specimen, this wonderful example yields a full strike in high relief, along with handsome cabinet toning throughout that is accentuated by a touch of soft colorful blues and golds throughout. Very limitedly marked, the surfaces display nice cohesiveness, despite a singular scratch that is noted for completeness on the reverse.
Estimate: $800 - $1200
