KM-Pn9; Gomes-E8.05. A RARE and desirable pattern, this piece delivers an elusive type in wonderful condition. We can only find one other offering of this pattern in recent past, our January 2014 NYINC auction lot #1205 offered a PCGS MS-62 example. The strike is quite good on this piece, with a soft glossiness present throughout. Battleship gray color varies in depth on the surface, only increasing the charm of this example. A tremendous pattern that is certain to appeal to any specialist in Portuguese Indian coinage.
