NEW ZEALAND. Florin, 1949. London Mint. George VI. PCGS PROOF-66.
KM-18. While the proof Crown of this year receives all the fanfare, proof Florins appear to be much SCARCER, with us finding no evidence of an example trading in the past few decades. Additionally, this example is the only proof of this year certified by PCGS, further highlighting the elusive nature of this date in proof. The present example is quite beautiful, with a full strike and soft reflectivity that features throughout the surfaces. A charming example that would enthrall any collector of New Zealand coinage.
Estimate: $1500 - $3000
