Fr-22; H-Cz-Unlisted; Kop-7674 (R5); Kur-948 (R5); Gum-1912. Weight: 6.83 gms. Obverse: Laureate and mantled bust of John Casimir right wearing the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece; Reverse: Arms of Danzig, supporting ornamentation below, all within garlanding encircled by the legend. A desirous Double Ducat of John Casimir, this example exudes beauty and allure. The surfaces are impossible convey in words, overrunning with original and spellbinding luster. The strike is comprehensive, and the engraving shows special care in its execution. All together this Danzig issue is hard to top on any account, be it RARITY or aesthetics.
