Square uniface flan with arms of Groningen flanked by denomination (25-ST); Legend: IVRE ET TEMPORE 1672. The handsome and lustrous example boasts a strong central strike on a nicely produced planchet. The devices are well-formed and clear complemented by a light gray coloration with a slightly golden hue. One of the more available obsidional issues, this charming minor silver issue is pleasing to the eye with even patina and good metal quality, an excellent introductory piece from this complex area of numismatics.
