Pr-3713. Struck under Antigonos I Monophthalmos. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress; Reverse: Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre; monogram in wreath to left, ΚΛ below throne. This appealing Tetradrachm was struck during Antigonos' occupation of Babylon, during which the Satrap Seleukos was forced to flee to the court of Ptolemy. This example displays a handsome portrait in high relief and lightly toned surfaces.
