Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding scepter and eagle; M to left; below throne, ΛY above strut. This stunning example displays an impressive portrait of Herakles in high relief. The reverse offers sharp details to match, despite an area of noted scratches on the fields. Attractive toning enhances the well-struck devices.
