HGC-4, 1597; Kroll-8. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. A beautiful well-centered Athenian Tetradrachm with strong details and attractive cabinet toning. Some scratches are noted around the owl and a couple short dings are visible on Athena's cheek, but the coin is overall highly alluring.
