HGC-4, 1832; Pegasi-309. Obverse: Pegasos flying right; Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena left; dolphin above, head of griffin (or ketos) to right. A wonderful example of this RARE type with seldom-seen control marks. Struck on a broad flan, this Stater displays stark stormy gray toning with hints of brilliant iridescence around the reverse devices. A stunning coin with high-relief detail.
