CORINTHIA. Corinth. AR Stater (8.56 gms), ca. 345-307 B.C. NGC EF, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 5/5. Die Shift.
HGC-4, 1848; Pegasi-439; BCD-107. Obverse: Pegasos flying left; koppa below; Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena left; A-P around neck, plow to right. Well-centered on a round flan and elegantly toned, this Corinthian Stater is quite beautiful. The obverse displays minor die wear and die shift, but the reverse is quite sharp and lustrous.
