SNG Levante-115; cf. SNG BN-360 (with monogram below throne). Obverse: Baal of Tarsos seated left, holding eagle-tipped scepter; to left, grain ear and grape bunch above monogram; Reverse: Lion left, attacking bull right above crenellated walls. This Stater presents a bold obverse struck from a die of fine style. The reverse exhibits some die shift but remains sharp. A wonderful example of this interesting type with light dove gray toning and abundant luster.
