HGC-9, 10F; SC-82.6; Pr-3704. In the name and types of Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Rev: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, monogram within wreath; below throne, H below strut. This early Seleukid issue presents a striking portrait of Herakles and sharp reverse details. A handsome example with deep cabinet toning.
