MAA-78; SNG Cop-335; Jenkins & Lewis pl. 28, 4-6. Obverse: Wreathed head of Tanit left; Reverse: Horse standing right. A well-produced Carthaginian silver piece, likely struck in Italy during Hannibal's invasion. The surfaces are argent and lightly toned, and the details are quite sharp. A fragment of the rim has broken off; it is included with the lot outside of the holder.
