Group of Four Egyptian Stone Scarabs. New Kingdom, ca. 1550-1069 B.C. Average Grade: FINE.
Consisting of a large pale green glazed steatite scarab featuring a central cartouche; a small glazed steatite scarab featuring the forepart of a lion; a gray stone frog scaraboid featuring the head of a feline; and a glazed steatite scarab featuring the head of a feline with a solar disk with uraeus above and a shallow basket below. Glaze worn on the steatite scarabs, large pale green one also chipped and the one with the feline head below a solar disk with uraeus also stained; frog scaraboid good.
