Group of Four Egyptian Glazed Steatite Scarabs. ca. 1550-924 B.C. Average Grade: FINE.
Comprising a large scarab with two cartouches with the royal names of Shoshenq I; a light brown glazed scarab with various hieroglyphic signs; a pale green glazed scarab featuring a winged figure and a scarab beetle; and a pale green glazed scarab with the ram head of Amun. The three smaller New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, circa 1550-1292 BC; large one Third Intermediate Period, 22nd Dynasty, reign of Shoshenq I, circa 945-924 BC. All with worn glaze and chipped.
