Printed by ABNC. Dated December 21, 1940. Blue primary design. The first denomination issued by the Banco Central de Venezuela. This type was issued for just the 1940 series, and is incredibly difficult to locate today. Only five notes have been graded by PMG for this type, with auction appearances of issued examples being virtually non-existent. Opportunities to acquire this caliber of note only come once in a blue moon, when extensive holdings such as the Rosenman Collection are offered.
