VENEZUELA. Banco de Venezuela. 1000 Bolivares, 1936. P-S315. Rosenman 133. PMG Very Fine 30.
Printed by ABNC. Two signature titles. Dated January 31, 1936. This is the highest denomination from the 1931-39 series. This is also the plate note for Billetes de Venezuela by Richard Rosenman. Simon Bolivar is depicted at center, with gauchos at left and right of the dual "1000" counters. The underprinted guilloche is found in a lovely array of colors, retaining excellent eye appeal for the assigned grade. The back design is in a dark yellow color, with arms at center. Just two notes have been graded by PMG for this type, and this example is Top Pop. PMG comments "Annotation, Minor Stains". PMG Pop 1/None Finer.
