Printed by HLC. Dated December 31, 1879. This is the highest denomination for the 1879 series, which was the first issue for this bank to use the Bolivares denominations instead of Venezolanos. This note is the plate note for Billetes de Venezuela by Rosenman, along with the Banknote Museum website. Four notes of this type have been graded by PMG, with auction records being virtually non-existent from major U.S. auction houses. An incredible opportunity to acquire this elusive treasure.
