PANAMA. Banco Central de Emision de la Republica de Panama. 20 Balboas, 1941. P-25s. Blue Specimen Variety. PMG Uncirculated 62.
Eight 20 Balboas specimens have been certified by PMG, and this will be the first example we have offered to our bidders. The central vignette is of oxen pulling a cart, with purple guilloches at opposing ends. The underprint is comprised of dark orange ink. Arms are at center on the reverse, with the design found in a burnt orange color. This variety has the specimen text at upper right in blue, where the serial number should be. At upper left is the solid zero specimen serial number. We are offering another 20 Balboas specimen, which has a different arrangement for the specimen text.
