Printed by W&S. Dated March 26, 1947. This is one of just six notes graded by PMG for this rare catalog number. The highest denomination for the provisional Banco de Guatemala overprint issue, and often the most difficult to obtain. The front depicts dock workers with facing perched birds at opposing ends. The undertint is eye catching in pink and green ink, whilst the border design is comprised of blue ink. On the reverse, a palace is at center in great detail. Surrounding the central design is intricate lathe work in dark blue ink. PMG Pop 1/2 Finer.
