Severus Alexander. A.D. 222-235. Æ sestertius (27.4 mm, 12.09 g, 2 h). Rome, A.D. 230. IMP SEV ALEXANDER AVG, laureate head right, draped left shoulder / IVSTITIA AVGVSTI, SC, Justitia seated left, holding patera and scepter. RIC 563; BMCRE 613. aVF, scratches.\r\n\r\nI first thought this was an As based on its weight, making it an unpublished type. (This type is known for sestertii only). However, there are two spots where the underlying metal is clear, it is red. That indicates that it may be an as but struck on the flan of a sestertius.
