Maya Sello. An excellent Maya sello (roller seal) from Guatemala, c. 400 – 800 AD. This hollow example is 2-1/2" long and is decorated with a central register of recurved step-fret designs, surrounded by linear and triangular elements. In excellent condition, with strong mineral deposits and signs of extensive usage. Ex Walley collection. Value range $250 - $400.
