Maya Jade Ear Flare. A fine Maya ear flare from Guatemala, c. 400 – 800 AD. It is 1-3/4" wide and is made from gorgeous green jade. The intricate design, quality of the workmanship and type of stone all point to this having been worn by a member of the elite. Lost corner, good mineral deposits. Ex Walley collection.
