Inca Stone Conopa. A choice Inca conopa from Peru, c. 1300 – 1500 AD. This beautifully detailed example is 2-3/4" long and is carved from a finely grained tan stone, perhaps alabaster, that shows extensive mineral deposits. It depicts a llama and retains some of the ritual offering in the cavity in its back. In excellent condition. Ex Historia Gallery. Value range $500 - $700.
