A Pair of Roman Ceramic Vessels. The first is an Iron Age II jar from the Holy Land, c. 9th - 6th Century BC, with two small loop handles and decorated with brown slip. H: 6 ½" (16.4 cm). Intact, light encrustation. The second is a Roman jar, c. 3rd - 4th Century AD, the sides with heavy horizontal ribbing and three pierced lug handles for suspension.
